Bad news................I once again have oil pressure, not dead yet.
I'm thinking the Super Model could use a new oil pump this spring/summer?
Can I drop the pan with motor in place? (hey....there's snow on the ground)
If not, might have to go NASCAR.......Not willing to pull.

Lift the Disco by the frame up front to allow the front axle to droop. Unbolt the pan, let it rest on the axle, unbolt the pick-up tube, drop it in the pan and pull the pan with tube out.

Mehh....Can't be any harder than a Jeep 4.0 where you do the same except jack the motor as well.

It'll have to wait until Spring, a long with the balance of the rust repair........if she behaves, I'll get her legal, right
now she's under 20"s of snow. Maybe later today I'll dig her out.......then again if I don't, she can't find any trouble!!

BE 'THAT GUY!!!!!

I’m planning for a 4” lift, I hope to never know. I’ve got more oil pressure than I know what to do with, surprised it hasn’t coated the Heep.

That 4.0 Jeep block is a hell of a thing!

Stay away from Rough Country crap when talking lifts, spend more & get at least adjustable uppers!
Since you're not rock crawling, you can live with a 1" transfer case drop to help with rear pinion angle......
Check out Andy, small shop but top quality fabrications! https://www.ironman4x4fab.com/

Lol.... yes she’s gonna be a struggle to get both arms around. Checked yer mates site, very nice kit. How about Zone? I’m not too concerned about long arm twisty since I just wanna get the punkins off the pavement. Last winter a snow bank yanked the muffler off... sweet.

Zone is BDS without the warranty........which is fine cuzz BDS doesn't back their warranty anyway.
But that's what you'll get purchasing a Big Dick Suspension....(that's what BDS actually stands for)
Anywho......Zone works & is cost effective, don't skimp on steering!

Got the artic blast thing going.....Rovah ain't going no where...........
