Those are some really yellow headlights there....... sure you need to turn those on? You pick up a new habit, Meth maybe? Go ahead, dive into that stink hole and you'll come out smelling like poop...... you really don't like yourself do you? I can think of a bunch of other things I'd rather be doing than trying to make a DII work right. Oh look, I have lint fuzz between my toes, I think I'll work on that and feel better about life.......

Still need an under view......tooooooo clean to believe for the location.....if I do grab it......everything but the frame & body will become FORD......Late 70's FORD with a 400 block......axles and all......Stay tuned............too much snow right now to predict anything other than Mr. Lucas will be 100% stripped, as well as the undercarriage..........thank my damn wife, she found it, owner is willing to play for next to notta....

That 'was' the plan, a plan as it was basically falling into my lap.......

But lucky for me, the guy turned out to be a total bull****ter, he marked as sold this morning....messaged him asking him if he sold it.....I was expecting the return message to say - Ya, your stuck with it jerk.......but instead he wrote he sold it to some one else this morning......not acknowledging a single word of our hour long phone call yesterday afternoon.....what an ***.

So, with it falling into my lap, I would have built it.......but I'm honestly not looking for another Rover project......I am actively searching for an older truck or van project, something that I can actually use..........In the end, just met another a-hole on this earth we all walk, I'm sure this was for the better!!

When mine pukes for the final time.....I'll go full Mad Max on it.......

So, the 'seller' actually said to me...."Can you believe the guy brought a
magnet with him to check the body....HaaHaaa...he said they had a number
of them over at their shop".....
My reply was..."If a word of the was true, he wouldn't have brought a magnet"

The seller never owned a Rover prior......The story got deeper and deeper to include over heating & glowing cadiledic converts, fried harness, etc....I stated I would only want it for the frame & body......I doubt he informed the new owner of all the 'said' things that were wrong with it, sort of feel sorry for the new owner thinking he's buying something he can resell by just replacing the provided harness......oh well.
