Tear down has begun on my wrecked D1. I got it with a wet hub Salisbury rear axle already installed and I did the disc brake conversion on it, so that is coming out. Leading up this part I have been acquiring parts as they were avail. Some of those were the Ballistic shave kit, 4:11 R&P, ARB air locker, all new bearings and drive flange.
I got it suspended yesterday and and got set up to start tearing down the suspension. I was to excited to see how much this diff cap differed from the other.
I will gain 1.05in in clearance with a dead flat bottom of my diff. Best part is the rudder is completely removed.
