Default 1993 NAS 110 Steering wheel cover

Okay, I give up. How does on remove the steering wheel center cover on this car? The shop manual says remove the single screw then remove the cover. But there's no screw. I think it's referring the hard plastic cover similar to the one on my 1987 Ex-MOD 110. This one is a molded bit, somewhat flexible, but not so much that is seem able to "pop off". Any notion?

I guess no one has had the occasion to remove the steering on these things. Well I messed with it a bit more and solved the problem. There are 4 studs out sticking from the back of the cushion cover, at 12mm larger than seems appropriate for the purpose, with a retaining flange bit on the end of each. These are held in a rubber grommet like socket. It takes a rather aggressive pull straight back to release the pad. Probably best and easiest done with a lever from the bottom. It feels much like something will break, but it didn't. I think when I reinstall I'll reduce the flange size a bit and apply a silicone lubricant to facilitate removal the next time.
