1998 Defender in need of TLC
I have a confession. I don't even own a Land Rover (but I sure wouldn't mind). These days I'm more into Mercedes Sprinter ambulances.
I have joined this august group to seek your help for some acquaintances in Poland.
I just got back home from buying an ambulance in Germany and driving it into Ukraine to donate it to the army. Along the way I met some amazing people who are giving a whole lot to the effort. One group of volunteer rescue workers helped load my ambulance with tactical and medical supplies that they purchased with their own funds.
I just learned these folks are trying to raise money to repair a 1998 Land Rover Defender to support their volunteer water rescue organization in Poland. The local police donated the VERY well used vehicle, but it needs some TLC. Their local Land Rover repair shop (4land) is doing the labor for free, but they need money for parts (or parts if you're in central Europe).
So, if you like the idea of a Defender continuing kicking *** and getting the people who need to be there where they need to be. PM me for links to their Facebook page. I also have tons of pictures of the blue beast I can share.
Thank you for your time!
Romodaddio
(ps: I drive a 4runner 06 SR5 4x4 with 3" lift when I'm not buying ambulances, I hope you can forgive me. Maybe you can show me the way.)
