I came across an opportunity to check out what looks like a clean 97 D90 hard top with 170,000 miles. The price seems a little too good to believe. I would guess minimum market for one of these in clean condition is above 40k, even with the high miles. Asking price is well below that. Any comments would be appreciated before I take the time to go look at this thing. By the way, it is a rare event indeed for a Defender to show up in my neck of the woods so this is a bit of a rare opportunity.

 

Where is your neck of the woods? Make sure to check all the usual spots for rust. But if its a good chassis and clean body and its a NAS in the $20-25k ball park you should buy it!!! Mechanicals and parts are easy to come by....
