Import 26 years old LR Defender to USA
Hello, my name is Sam from Milwaukee, WI. Currently I'm in UK to buy a Land Rover Defender 110. I've found one which is 26 years old but the car chassis has local rotten parts. If I repaired this car's original chassis in UK, can I import it to the USA without any problems? Waiting for your answers.

I have friends who shipped back LRs to the states from England. I'm being told that the chassis can be repaired but not replaced. It has to have the original matching VIN stamped on the right front of the chassis.
What they don't know if there is any current stipulation of how much can be repaired to deem the chassis being original... 25% repaired? 50%? 75%? A UK shipping company should know this.
