So i have this left hand drive 1987 90 2.5diesel for sale (as far as i know it is a legally importable defender), it has a great, rust-free chassis (in unseen condition for a 25 year old land rover), with 261480km (162476mi) on the odometer. Driver and passenger seat are reupholstered and look new, and has a new radiator. It has an internal roll cage that is welded to the chassis, and raised air intake, steering guard, front axle guard, side-steps and a nice set of Michelin road/terrain tires.
There are some dents here and there and needs new paint that will make it look even more amazing.


I'dd like 13000usd for it, i think that's a very fair price for an left hand drive land rover (which is rare), i don't know how much shipping is to the US though. I haven't put it on ebay yet but i am planning on it.

 

Sounds like a great deal. I'd love a webasto for mine, if I were daily driving it in the winter. Is it a 2.5NA to 2.5dT?

It's a 2.5 N/A diesel, there are pictures of the engine on page 3 in the photoalbum link. I know '87 was a transition year with the introduction of the 2.5 turbodiesel, it does have the modern style door ***** though, which were also introduced in '87.
