Default Turn Indicator Beeper

Hello everyone, my apologies if this question has been previously addressed…I did my due diligence but couldn’t find the answer elsewhere.

I have a 2003 Defender 110 TD5 LHD that I’ve owned for about a month now and the turn indicators are driving me crazy. The previous owner must have been forgetful and installed an aftermarket beeper relay…but it is just way too loud. People on the street turn to look…for the wrong reasons! Is there any way to reduce the volume on these relays by reducing the current flowing through it? Or is my only option to find it and remove it?

So, are you saying the beeper beeps while you are using the indicators? If so, find the beeper and apply duct tape. Should quiet it down some.
