Since I think I will be adding stuff to this and enjoy the LR3 version of this thread it was time to start it.

Simple if you accomplished something or went down swinging post up about in here and toss some pictures in for fun.

I have a feeling @The Deputy will be joining me as well but with much better content.

So to start it off I bought an adjustable pan hard rod for my steering upgrades.

Oh and I started a to do list.... FML

I don't have a Defender but I'm still looking for a non rotted, well maintained 110.

Fixed the left rear tail light, loose wiring behind metal corner panel, grounded out and blew fuse. Repaired wiring, replaced fuse (stolen from fan motor...for now)...all good. Lubed all door hinges and checked oil.

Filled it with fuel and drove it to my parents to take them for a ride. Unforunately, my mom wasn't feeling well (84) and dad (87) didn't want to leave her unattended...so hopefully l'll take them for a ride this week.

And yes, ArmyRover, good thinking...l believe some time will be spent here now.

Brian.

I thought you might lol. Hoping to have the bumper squared away in the next couple days.

Anyone that does a post that is a solid how you done it, will be made into a sticky. I would like to see us grow our Defender knowledge without heading somewhere else

So tonight, I took a few minutes to pull a wheel off and take a couple measurements for the rims I am looking into having made.

PSA: clean behind the wheels after you wheel. It was a hot mess back there.

Lol I am surprised people follow along to be honest. It is easy to do little updates on and for events crazy easy to get photos out real time of the fun

So got started tonight on the front axle. Pulled the wheels and started disassembly mosquitos came for me so I retreated lol. Doing a 24 spline upgrade.

Made a decision on the wheels so tomorrow those will be getting ordered. So I can take advantage of my dad traveling back right through the town where the shop is for free shipping to Georgia

Crazy part is when you find rust and you are relieved.

After much enthusiastic poking and prodding with a pointy metal object it is all just surface and the metal is still solid. So with a bit of clean up and treatment all will be right in the world.

What wheels/rims did you go with? I'm going to buy an extra set of rims for my mud tires, swap off old Dll, then switch back and forth for daily (235/85/16 - BF Goodrich A/T) and adventure outings (265/75/16 - Federal M/T). Or buy new 285/75's and get what l really want.
