One is leaving, possibly...lol. Can't seem to say goodbye to old blacky...but five different folks are coming to look at her today. Thought l'd post a picture of her with Victoria.

The 110 looks like a chinder block compared to the car...lol.

l've gone through this three years straight, list the car...then change my mind...always after getting twenty messages on market place...but never replying to any (yes, l'm that guy...lol). This year, responded to five messages...so far...of the thirty or so. Told myself a few minutes ago, if none of these folks buy today...history will repeat itself and the 110 will be for rainy days...and the car for sunny ones.

Edit: after l wrote this post...l went in and messaged everyone, all but one guy (who l kind of loosely accepted an offer from on FB), and told them l changed my mine about selling. They all understood and...lol...at my decision to keep it. So, all l had to hope for...is that the one guy wouldn't want it. No such luck...goodbye blacky.

Replaced calipers, pads, master cylinder and differential/proprotioning valve, bleed brakes. Calipers cups on inboard side of caliper were froze up.

Yeah, kind of miss it...but...too many irons in the fire and need to get more focused on this defender and its intent.

88°, driving down the expressway 70 mph, three miles from exit, hear weird noise, like something shreding, look down at cluster, alternator light on...hmmmm...belt just bit the big one. Keep motoring for the ramp, gauge still in white as l make the ramp, still two miles from home...l'm going for it! Hit the driveway just as the gauge breaks out of the white zone. Shut her down and coasted into the shade of an oak tree. Brilliant...diesels rule, gas engines drool...lol.
