Only if source of smell is removed.... Wet seat cushions or carpet or whatever. You are only scrubbing the air if source is still there... Smell is soon to follow.

that is true. I'm working on the assumption that he said he has already removed the wet carpet backing and everything. if the leather didn't actually get wet, which without submerging the vehicle I don't know how the seats could be wet?unless the sunroof leaked right on them. otherwise it's just dry spores floating around. and ozone will kill that. if the seats have actually gotten moist, you probably will not get the smell completely out.. once foam soaks it up you are screwed.. dry it out and kill it with ozone. thats the best you can do. otherwise call paul grant for new seat foam.

I'm not trying to say you're wrong, at all. I'm only trying to say that I use these machines on a weekly basis and they do not work if the source has not been removed. the cubic amount of air inside a vehicle is tiny. He has been going for a week with his windows down. So it only makes sense that the source of the smell is still in the car. I am only warning not to spend your money renting a machine that will not work for the long-term. When I replace the burnt lumber, the charred aesthetics, and the wet insulation and the molded sheet rock and utilize one of these machines the smell goes away if I missed something the smell comes back.
