Default Suede on Doors

After years of driving with my arm on the door i have developed a dingy spot on the suede on the door panel. Does anyone have some tips for cleaning it??
Also, have some spots on the hood, i think from acid rain, they feel fairly deep like they go through the clear coat. Any way to take care of that?

I have used the Interior Cleaner from Griot's on the suede where my arm rests. It was not perfect, but definitely improved things. It removed some of the dirt, and did not seem to hurt the suede. I think I brushed it gently with a toothbrush or something, then soaked it out with a clean cloth. I think I have only done it once, and need to do it again. If one did it very often, seems like it would be hard on things.
