Default 1995 Land Rover Discovery hasn't started in years.

Hi guys im new to this form but I have a 1995 land Rover Discovery 3.9L V8i Automatice tranny with a new battery. Its current state is not running and will not take electric power such as no dome lights when I open the door no horn when i press it, except for a dimly lit clock that goes dark when i try and turn the key or turn on a light. I did check and replace fuses under the hood checked all the smaller ones also all seem good to go if anyone can help its would be greatly appreciated.
I also posted a video on you tube so you can get a visual of what im saying.

You said the battery was new a month and a half ago, has it been connected the entire time? It's probably drained low enough not to start or power the D1 now, I'd slap it on a charger. If the battery is okay then I would clean the battery terminals, and all grounds.

Rover's are known for having corrosion collect on the grounds over time especially on rigs that are just sitting around.

that looks like the new battery is very very dead, charge the battery and or hook jumpers to a running car for a few minutes see what that gets you

that radio scares me as a huge electrical issue if not wired correct

Protip: Some new batteries are sold discharged.

What's the voltage of the battery currently?

BAD contact at battery, rechech frame and body ground unbolt clean rebolt, check power cable at starter be sure its tight ( with battery unhooked of corse) do you have 12 volts at the fuse box under hood? fuse box under dash?

did mice get in and chew the dash wiring? guy here with an lr3 mice/rats destroyed his harness from it sitting

hell try adding a ground go from batt to engine see if it changes use a jumper cable if need be

The battery is at 12 volts, but i have no volt meter to check but the ground wire is clean as a whistle that was the first thing i did, the power just one day cut out, and the LR has sat for 7 1/2 years.

Check cable at starter and cable where it hooks to the fuse box
