Looking at the diagram for the plug wires wires mine is not exactly as shown, but is in that order (ie. my #1 plug is where the #4 on the diagram). I don't know if that's an indication the distributor wasn't marked and reinstalled correctly when the water pump was worked on (I can see red gasket stuff)?
