1996 Discovery SE7 - Service Engine Light
I am trying to reset the Service Engine Light on my 1996 Discovery SE7 vehicle. I have seen the instructions about some "gray box" on the passenger side, but I am not able to find this gray box - there are a lot of other cables, but no gray box for emmissions.
Does any know how to reset this light on my SE7?
Also, my fuel pump was replaced, now my fuel gauge does not work. Did the mechanic forget to hook something back?
My ANTI LOCK light has always been on for as long as I can remember - is this normal?
Any help is appreciated.

Grey box is actually red-ish. Just remove it.
Resetting the Service Engine Light
The float probably fell off the new pump. That's what happened to mine. Did he replace the entire assembly or just the motor inside? I replaced the entire thing, and the ended up reusing the old fuel sender plastic, with the new electronics. The new stuff wouldn't stay together.
Someone may have pulled the fuse for the ABS because it was acting up.

I too pulled the Anti-lock fuse, I never could work out the issues.
I noticed that "reset" link posted is no longer functional.

My anti-lock light has been on for 5 years. It wasn't on at first but the brakes would pulse like crazy every time I stopped like I was hitting rumble strips on the highway, and it took forever to stop. Disconnected abs and have not had a problem since. a piece of black tape will take care of that light...
