Default 2 stupid questions

#1 how do you create a "signature" for every post you make?

#2 on d1 (I have 98) where do the jack tools get stored? I heard under the seat but do not see a good place for all 3 parts. I know the jack goes under the hood, but since I had to buy the other parts myself I never saw where they go

I think it just goes in the bag, under the seat. I usually just had mine in the load space, behind a big storage bin that had my camping stuff in it.

Best to make up your own emergency bag and carry more than just the lug wrench, jack and whatever third part you are talking aBOUT DEPENDING ON YOUR USAGE AND ENVIRONMENT.

Have you ever taken the lug nuts off yet? Do you have wheel Chocks?

#1 Go to the User CP (control panel) on the left side of the screen and click on Edit Signature under settings and options.

#2 In a bag under the rear seat and the jack is under the hood.

There are no stupid questions.

Thanks. I have taken lug nuts off and have chock that comes stock near jack. Just thought the jack pipes would have a spot to be secured, but thanks again

There are pipes for the jack?
I just use my 1/2" drive breaker bar to jack up the jack and pliers to loosen the screw to let it down.

They are held in place under the seat by two velcro straps.
