Default 4 wheel drive quit working.

So I just bought a 94 and the previous owner was offroadingredients and he said the 4 wheel drive quit working. He did drive it out of the woods thou back home. I have a 04 discovery 2 and know that they are 4 wheel drive all of the time. So I'm thinking something is wrong with the linkages in the transfer case. What are your guys thoughts on this. I don't pick it up till this weekend thou. Just trying to get a head start on the diagnosis.

work from the wheels inward. Axels, drive shafts, and THEN the transfer case. Also is a good time to change the oil in the diffs and transfer case.

I'd shop around. Lucky 8, Rovers North, British Atlantic, and Rovahfarm are all candidates.

Amazon also has high quality SKF bearings at good prices..
