Default 4wheel drive selector

Guys, I'd like to know how your selector looks when in 4H. This is mine, on the vid 4H is down and to the right. It only moves forward and back(4h to 4low). I'm unable to lock the diff. Here is a pic of what mine looks like in what I think is 4H.

vid of how to lock cdl

Mine looks as it does in the video. It's a little tough to get it into 4locked and 2 locked, but it goes and the light comes on.

It takes use to loosen it up or dismantle and grease. Even if you don't off road, shifting it keeps the linkage freed up.

Could mine be in 4locked and the light off? When I have it on stands I'm able to stop both sides from spinning. I does feel harder "kicks" when in 4L

Can it not have a diff lock? Say they made it that way or are all discos made with a diff lock?
