I have a 1994 Disco 1, 148k new magnecor wires, E3 plugs, cap and rotor as well as a new Fuel pump assembly. However, she was involved in a hit and run, damage to front bumper, driver headlight and turn signal. A guy I work with wants her for $500, I know I can part it out for alot more, any ideas? I have already purchased another one that is newer. Body is pretty straight for the year, interior is clean, rear sunroof doesn't work but, is closed and doesn't leak. Cloth interior, replaced the dash, new brakes all the way around.

Tell him $1000 and he can drive it home.
You wont get much more than that for it, the price of the parts to fix it are going to cost near what the truck is worth.

Up here its worth $500 in scrap, I'd try and get at least something above scrap value. If you have a place to keep it, I'd part it out. Its hard to sell a wrecked vehicle and discos aren't worth a ton anyway. As many will probably tell you, most of these things are worth more in pieces. I'd sell a few parts and accumulate what money you can then scrap the rest. Stupid little parts will add up in price very fast. Sucks to crush one but it also sucks to sell one for $500.
