Default 94 disco fuel pump relay

Would someone please tell me which relay is for th fuel pump? I'm assuming it's one under the passanger side cover. I've checked the fuel pump, the roll over switch, and took the fuel pump out and checked that it works. Still get no fuel to the rail ( checked at valve on rail). Fuel filter is also new. Would also like to know if the relay is available from local auto parts store. Thanks for the help.

Have tested both the fuel pump relay and the multifunction relay. Both are working fine. Is there a good source for a used ECU? Thanks.

On the 94 the fuel pump relay is the second or third one in from front of vehicle, passenger side kick panel, top row of relays. Is that the one you tested (either or)? I do believe you can get those at a parts palace, fairly common type of relay. What makes you think the brain box dumped?

I've tested the relays and the cut off switch. Also tested the pump. She turns over and has spark but no fuel. I figure at this point it has to be the brain.

i'm not 100%sure of this but I think that the wire harness has another connector not far from the pump ( not sure why they did that ??) if that connector is toast then that would explain why it's not getting power.....

not to talk you out of looking into another ecu, but before I did that I'd run fused , hot when ignition on.. wire back to the pump...you could even go thru the inertia switch if ya wanted to

There is a harness that runs from the pump over the the left frame rail in front of the left rear wheels. I have been seeing more and more of those harnesses fail in the last few years. I have a truck here in the yard that I am parting that had a new replacement harness installed a couple of years ago. If it turns out that's the problem I should be able to help you out.

There is a yellow relay in the passenger footwell that can fail and cause problems with power to the fuel pump as well.

On your '94 there are two metal Bosch relays. One is for the pump and the other is for the ECU. They are on the outer wall of the passenger footwell. You cannot substitute a yellow relay in their place and I've heard mixed reviews of some of the new aftermarket replacement relays.

Thanks for the tips. I tested the fuel relay and the multi function relay. They are both grey and are Bosch relays. If it doesn't rain I'll check the harness tomorrow. Will let you know what I find.
