Searching for a clutch kit and see everything from an Allmakes 4x4 ($194); Valeo ($200); Sachs ($300); Luk ($340). Any recommendations based on experience? Not looking to do any extreme off-roading but might as well install the best I can since the prices are pretty close to one another. Thanks in advance.

 

In general i use luk, not sure if there is a good or bad brand for rovers, a quick amazon search just showed me there is a price range

 

Thanks Tom. I actually pulled the trigger today and it was between LUK and Sachs since I wanted to stay with the more well known brands. Decided to go with the Sachs and it was purely based on price for me. Got the Sachs for $246 which is about $100 less than the LUK was. I'm sure it will be fine though.

 

I just took a saches out of my jeep, the clutch plate and all was fine, the pressure plate was creaking bad , looked like a few fingers were not doing the job, put in the luk, I doubt it matters though since I have no clue the miles on the clutch I removed
