Default 95 disco 1 not starting up

was running okay till i parked it at a local restraunt to eat. when the meal was over and was trying to go home and it started and stalled before i could get out of the parking lot. would not start up since.

new items:
fuel pump
ignition coil
plugs
wires
dist cap
dist rotor

had to fix the dist the little springs on the bottom came loose and thought this was the problem for sure but still no luck starting it up
checked timing
6 degrees on marker #1 at tdc and dist rotor pointed at #1 point on the cap.
I have spark coming from the coil and i can smell fuel out of the tail pipe so im curious on what else it could be. Any help and leads would be helpfull thanks.

Have you verified all the plug wires are routed correctly, and number 1 is at number 1 on the distributor?
Are the plugs gaped correctly?
Do you have spark at the plugs?

Is it cranking at all? You said you smell fuel at the tail pipe. I'm assuming that's while cranking? You're not firing.

Correct anti I checked for spark at the coil then at one of the spark plugs and both getting spark. Have not checked the fuel pressure yet but iirc it should be around 2bars

check the vacuum advance on the distributor. if the diaphragm is bad, you 'll have a pretty good vacuum leak, and the distributor will not advance/retard like it should.

Can you hear the pump running? Verify that its actually running. If its not it could be the fuel harness plug. Mine was bad and it caused intermittent no-starts, cut-outs, and even threw 4 codes including 2 misfires. Swapped out the harness from the fuel pump to the wheel well and I've been good to go. Try jiggling the plug quickly(you only have a few seconds) after turning the key to ACC, if the pump isnt running.
