You never know, I have seen dumber things affect suspensions, just a suggestion. : )

Sway bar still on?
If so is it bent or missing a end link?

Bad radius arm bushing? Bent radius arm?

Vehicle hit before? Bent spring perch?

Springs are dumb, they compress under load. They don't know or care if the load is coming from the ground up or the top down, it's irrelevant.
The only time spring orientation matters at a is on a progressive spring. Even then the orientation doesn't effect the performance, I just like to mount them with the tighter spaced could at the top. If they tighter coils were at the bottom more mud and rocks would get stuck inside the spring around the shock.

I got real lucky on my TF lift. I didn't know they were side side too.. as I was installing the passenger side spring I saw the PS marking on it.

My stock springs on the floor I noticed the passenger front was way longer than all the others.

The truck didn't appear to be any worse for wear after though, maybe I did bend something??

My 97 sagged to the passenger side before I replaced springs and shocks with OME HD. I carefully installed them on the correct sides, and afterwards it still listed to the passenger, though much less. Later, I installed a spring spacer shim on the right rear spring and that further corrected the "lean" though it is still noticeable. Now I live with it.

Also, there are several D1s around my area, and many of them lean the same way. That may not make you feel better, but just know you are not alone.

I call it the British slouch. Mine has had one since new, just more slightly pronounced now. Not worth the time/expense to fix it.

Are the coils intended sides marked for the U.K. market?
