Default 96 Disco- 2 brake lights are not working... (High mount brake light works...)

The brake lights in my taillights are not operable.... And yes I checked for burnt out bulbs. The bulbs are ok.

Another thing to note is that the high mounted brake light is functioning properly, so I don't believe it can be the switch behind the brake pedal.

Need suggestions, help and advice.

Thanks,
Tim

Check for ground at the bulb sockets when the brake pedal is depressed and the bulbs should otherwise be illuminated. Could be the socket is toast.
