Default '96 Disco I issues

I have a 96 Disco I that is giving me problems. The car started running rough and misfiring. Codes that came up were: P0300 Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected; P1316 Manufacturer control ignition system or misfire; P1314 (same as P1316); and P0340 Camshaft position sensor A - bank 1 circuit malfunction. The car starts up fine and runs fine until it warms up. At that point it starts to miss. I have put new plugs and I need to install new wires. Installed a new fuel filter, air filter. Cleaned throttle body and ran sea foam through it. Are the first three codes a direct result of the cam shaft sensor possibly going bad? Is there a way to test the sensor as I have removed it from the block? Any help would be GREATLY appeciated. We are new Rover owners and it has been a little frustrating so far. Have had it since August, it has 170k on the motor. Thanks

I replied to your thread on the other forum too but you posted more info in this one...
Until you put the plug wires on not much we can do.
Report back once those are on.
Just make sure you replace them one at a time.
