So, i am replacing the oil pan gasket. I found it in autozone, and also the dealer has it for sale. But, after i read a few more place, some say the discvery 1 DOES NOT USE A GASKET, but uses a sealant.

I am confused. Comments?

 

I did mine with no gasket just sealant. Thats what was on there when I removed it. So I just re did it.

 

Used a gasket on my oil pan when I replaced my pick up tube about a month ago. Installed pretty easy & no drips anymore.
