Default 97 D1 HD Britpart spring install.......

Hello to all, and let me offer my appreciation and respect to this Forum and all that post information here. This site is certainly the best place for LR tech info on the Internet. Tomorrow I'm installing HD Britpart coil set on my 97' D1 SE. I have reviewed the instructions on the ALLDATA app, and it seems very simple and straight forward. Can anyone out there please offer me any advise or tips on this procedure that I may not be aware of. Allow me to thank anyone in advance, and I hope everyone has a great weekend. LCL

Should've started doing this a week ago, but it can't hurt doing it now.

You poor northern trucks Down south all you need is a rag to clean off the years of caked on leaked oil. Keeps the threads in great condition!

And if it looks pretty rusty down there, if you dont already have one, buy a breaker bar (Or find a long thick pipe that will fit around the handle of your ratchet) to help break the nuts loose. The first time I was under my truck replacing suspension, that was the part that slowed me down the most. Even though I had PB blasted everything, I still needed a pipe to get alot of things loose, and there isnt a single speck of rust under there on mine. And obviously, make sure your jack stand can handle the weight of the vehicle. Having it fall on you while you are under it is never a fun way to find out your jack can only handle 500 pounds. Honestly, its all pretty basic common sense stuff.

Here is another source that you can follow with pics as well
