Yes. Shift to first, then idle, then measure and fill.

As far as wheels wobbling, are they really wobbling or is it just more feel than the RAV4?

The Disco is over two tons, sits much higher (somewhat top heavy and a higher Center Of Gravity than most vehicles out there. You could also have loose lug nuts, dried out and/or worn out wheel hubs, cv joints, swivel ball issues ............

Welcome to the Rover Addicts Lifestyle. Everytime you start to fix one thing, at least three more show their ugly little asses. Get used to it. Kiss the wife whenever you see her. Maybe she will let you keep it a bit longer that way.

Order her a whole lot of Rover themed goodies for Christmas, tell her it's for her to enjoy as well. Buy a roof top tent for it.

I'm thinking it's just different but will definitely keep an eye on it.

As for the lady, she's warmed up to it. She likes adventure, so I call it the adventuremobile

That's the way to do it, get her involved, take her somewhere really pretty and get her hooked on going to cool places in it and you'll have a long term addiction to enjoy.
