Everyone and everything has a story. I am glad you gave your Uncle credit for the gift of the Discovery to you. Not everyone is that fortunate. Hopefully it is something relatively simple and reasonable to fix so that you can enjoy his gift for many years to come.

He probably has quite a few stories about it himself, maybe you can develop some fine memories of owing it in the years to come. Good to see one passed down in the same family. Treasure it!
