Lucky for you, Ginger Ale doesn't stain computer monitors...

There is no fuseable link to remove, it is a regular fuse, 30amp on the '97 labeled ABS PUMP, that is the only fuse you need to remove.
The other option is to unplug the ABS pump itself.

I thought it was the 40A ABS pump fuse?

Whatever amp fuse it is you pull it, just make sure it is the ABS PUMP fuse.
Mine was a 30amp.

There very clearly is a 40Amp Fuse (or a fusible link never seen this kind of fuse before) labeled ABS pump under the hood and a separate 30A bladed fuse called ABS Valve.

I pulled the 30A ABS valve because when you pull the 40A ABS Pump one the Disco won't idle.
I also today pulled the 5A ABS fuse in Satellite one under the dash.

So, is the thing safe now or should I unplug the pump too?

It's a PAL fuse (as opposed to the more common ATC fuses).
A fusible link is a short section of wire.

IIRC there's no need to pull that one.

So, just pull the 30A valve one?

Yep. I know what a fusible link is but I saw someone in a post refer to an ABS fusible link and I didn't want to introduce another variable so I called it that.

So, just pull the valve fuse then? Just what does the 5A fuse in Satellite 1 do anyway?
