ABS Problems
On a regular basis, when I step on my brakes the ABS system engages and the vehicle pulls to the right. If I press the brakes down fully multiple times in a row, the problem goes away for a while.
The problem is most noticeable AFTER I turn the vehicle too sharply (ex. backing out of a parking space).
Any ideas where I should start to diagnose this?

I don’t have a solution, but mine does the exact same thing too. Started after I bled my brakes. ABS will randomly kick on when driving under 20mph making a turn.
My suspicion is it’s something to do with one of the wheel sensors not being properly connected or dirty. I just haven’t bothered investigating yet (too much other stuff to fix)
Is your truck like mine with the ABS light on the dash and a constant beeeeep when in Neutral?

Both my 94 and 96 did the same thing. Tracked it down with a professional scanner to loss of signal from the wheel sensor at low speed. Nearly went off the edge one day, so decided ABS was not worth having and removed the fuses for the ABS pump. Others on this forum decided the same thing according to my research. I can pump my own brakes.

In my opinion, the ABS at that time was more of a 'good idea' but it wasn't too reliable. Disconnected on both of my D1's and never looked back. Almost impossible to predict when it would kick in or not, and stopping distance on a dry road would increase when it did kick in. Pull the fuse!
I laugh as the XD which is rust bucket = ABS works flawless. 95 which doesn't have a dot of rust on it = ABS would trigger itself if ya drove over a penny in the road. I found records of it having issues like 10 years earlier and the LR dealer quoted a hefty bill for all new sensors. Previous owner apparently said heck no lol. I had it disconnected on my 98 and it stopped excellent. So yep pulled the fuse and not worried about it. XD pulls the same crap & out comes the fuse lol.
