ABS Problems

That’s what I just did. Problem went away, now I got a Check Engine light with a P1317 code for ABS. How do you stop that code from being triggered?

Default Weakening magnets

In my case, the ABS light was on anyway, so it isn't any more annoying than before I pulled the fuse. I've heard some people put a dot of black tape over it. By the way, the ABS light is different than the CEL light on my trucks, and I do not get a CEL.

I have a theory that the magnets get weaker in the sensors over time, that could be the root of the problem, but I am not willing yet to invest in the experiment to find out if my theory is true or false.
