I've never got it to work with my Samsung Galaxy S8, I keep an old S6 in the console just for resetting values.
Works every time.

Im running a 97 D90 NAS, going to try it with an android phone. Resetting the adaptive values, did that go well?... little leery introducing new code into the ECU.

I know I need to reset the TPS, and this reads like the best/ most cost effective way of doings it... but I’ve never done something like this.

I tried the software from RobertF for android awhile back, it glitched and managed to reset the security learn feature on the ECU. It wouldn't re-sync with the 10AS until I plugged my other reader in and did the security learn function from that.
I think that was a one off just with the android device/obd device glitching.

 

No new code is being introduced to the ECU.

resetting the adaptive values just changes the air/fuel mixture numbers back to stock settings.

it works really well and will address a high idle issue.

I have the older Britpart Lynx System for a D1 and I tried the 10AS sync and it totally locked my 10AS up. I slapped another one in and I was good to go, but I sure wish I could get the Britpart Lynx to program the ECU/10AS as I'd like to pair a few ECU's and 10AS units I have as spares.

 

Youre welcome to send them over to me and I can pair them all up.

Is there a FAQ on robertf's app for dummies? Additionally, is this app only for resetting adaptive values?
