Alpine window plastic
My left Alpine window seams to have a plastic shield while the right side does not. Is it just missing? What’s it for?

it is actually a clear plastic tube for the rear A/C.

Seems like a great way to heat up cold a/c as it passes a clear window before cooling the rear passengers !
