Default another humongous problem

hello everyone, i just had another problem, my key broke inside the ignition, there is part of the key still in the ignition and i have the other half atached to my key ring. do i need to buy a whole new key ignition or just a key??

p.s. by the way it still start when i inser the stub of key in the ignition

Force breaks things, finesse does not. These require finesse.

You have a couple of options, the cheapest being the fix Savannah referenced above.

If you want, you can get a used ignition switch with the key from Paul Grant.

Trying to get a new key to match your existing tumblers would require going to the LR dealership and that is the more expensive path.
