Default *** in the air with 751F 762R

Picked up the whole OME HD kit from AB a few months back and have really just noticed that my front seems to ride way lower than the rear. I don't know if they sagged or what. 751s in the front 762 on the rear.

I don't have any thing on the front other than the stock brush guard and i really dont think that would cause the front to ride significantly lower.

The whole back of the truck is gutted though, rear seats removed and all the trim right now. I did have a crap load of tools in back for a bit but honestly I can't remember how it sat before I pulled out the gear.

I would assume that the truck unladen with this setup would ride level and not depend on a crap load of weight in the back to level it off.

I'm starting to wonder if i should put a pair of 2766s up front to level or just move up to the 2766 2763 combo.

Or just buy a few bags of sand to put her *** back down if the lack of weight is really the problem.

Anyone else have this 751 762 setup?

totally unrelated to your question, but hows the ride quality with that setup? (stock shocks?)

Just realized there is a 1 inch difference in spring length between the 751 and 762 so I guess it is expected that weight in the rear is supposed to level it out. What the hell?

OME nitrocharger shocks. It rides like a tank, I love it.

I have the 762's on the rear of mine with the ProComp +2's Shocks all around. I took a shortcut with mine that my friend Rob recommended. He's the one who sold me the 762's (new but never installed) and helped me put them on. We basically moved my original rear springs to the front. Rides great, sits level. From what he told me, that is a common thing to do among Disco owners. he has owned several over the years and traveled extensively with his and others.

My interior is gutted as well. When mine is empty, if I go over a speedbump very fast, the rear end bounces. When heavily loaded, it rides great and handles fine.

You might try some sand bags in the back to see if that helps level you out.

I do not know what the spring rate or other tech data is, but they are doing fine for now.

Maybe Tom Rowe or someone else may know more about whether that is an advisable thing to do.

Or maybe Paul Grant has some used setups at a good price.
