Default Back pressure in radiator

Good morning all,

I am doing some troubleshooting as to the overheating I am experiencing on my 1998 D1. I drained the radiator and was totally flushing all of the coolant of of the radiator with straight water from a garden hose through the upper radiator hose connection when I noticed what seems to an untrained eye a large amount of back pressure when the hose is inserted into the connector. Should this be free flowing or is some amount of back pressure expected? No other hoses are connected to the radiator. I appreciate everyone's help in advance.

Sounds like the radiator has blockage. Any radiator shops around that can boil it for ya?
