Default Back up lights

5 speed manual transmission. I have to hold my shift lever to the right to get the reverse lights to come on. The clutch was changed by a local indy shop many years ago and I think they may have messed up the adjustment. Has anyone ever adjusted theirs? Is it easier to pull the center console to get to the switch? Thanks.

I have the exact condition on mine as well. I just assumed I needed to crawl under and adjust the switch.

I am just guessing but the switch is most likely a spring loaded ball type that is screwed into the side of the transmission, that is typical to the style used on Gm and fords as well

I haven't been able to find the switch and was hoping someone could describe exactly where it is. The RAVE doesnt have a good picture of it. I also looked on ALLDATA and it has a similar picture which isn't like thae actual transmission.

Go to gearbox in the rave, page 19 it is item #23 passenger side of the case behind the starter. Definitely spring loaded with a ball
