Are you going to get a bigger intake with larger trumpits also so you can rune more air thru the engine along with headers?

bosch ignitors, driving subaru coils wasted spark, as for the plenum had not got that far, already got the headers 4 into 1 1 5/8" pipe, got a few buddies who have built a few rovers to make serious HP, still want it drivable on and off road. have to have a look when i get it apart

cool, kind of an odd ball choice of coil packs, but definitely keep us posted on how that comes along!

(ive done many MS conversions - see the link in my sig - and would like to eventually get around to doing one on the LR as well)

subaru coils are a cheap plentiful coil readily avaiable, these are the 4 cylinder version off the non turbo subarus, most megasquirt conversions i know of have used subby coils and had no issues

interesting web site

cheers

This looks like it may be one of the best threads to ever be posted on here...
I hope you keep us posted, and I hope for a nice write up. I've been wanting to build a stroker for a long time. I think I may have a chance at a spare engine in the area, I should be able to pick it up next week

finally got the new heads yesterday and had a quick look at them, the valves are the biggest you can get in by the look,

the porting seems well done and consistant

, the rocker shafts are like new,
the valve springs appear to be fitted,

they are in good condition. how ever am still going to strip them down and clean thoroughly and reassemble, would love to get them on for Xmas, but have to much other stuff to do for others at present, last count 3 sets of bull bars, side bars, and a couple of winch mounts. brighter side they will pay for the xmas trip away.
