Bonnet release cable installation
a LOT of patience ! The worst part is the end near the latch...it's very difficult to see it and get your hands in there to remove a couple of bolts. If I had to do it over again I would remove the grill to get better access. Inside the truck is easy, and the entire cable pulls out from the inside...good luck
I'll take that as a no lol
Just git the new bonnet release cable installed. So far everything is in working order. Yes I did remove the grille. Whole thing took around an hour give or take. Problem is... Apparently I ordered 2 genuine bonnet release cables!!! When I first examined the packages I assumed that the 2 cables were part of the new cable, but once I got the new cable installed I realized that I have an extra unopened genuine release cable!!! Wtf
