Default Break failure

Went out in the -20 degree weather to drive the DI and I realized the farther I drove the more I had to put my foot into the break pedal to get the truck to stop. I pulled over and checked the break fluid and it was low. I did not have any break fluid leaks before this episode. I checked the break lines, and they are not leaking, I looked at the Master Cylinder/ Servo boost and I can see break fluid sitting on the wheel well. I'm assuming one of those two has failed. My new question is, how do I know which one has failed and now does not hold pressure?

When I press the breaks, the pedal goes down and comes back up, allowing me to pump my breaks. Slowly I can build pressure and stop. Or I can press the pedal down as hard as possible and SLOWLY stop. But its very weak, if I press the gas at all from start with the break at full I do accelerate.

Also worth noting, my ANTI-LOCK light is on, (Has been for awhile but the ABS would still work) my BREAK light is on (Has been ever since I fitted a new park break cable.)

Just wondering if anyone can relay to my symptoms.
Thanks

First off, it's BRAKES.
Have someone push the pedal while you are looking at the MC area. Follow the trail of fluid.

Yup refill with type fluid noted on master cylinder cap and tighten cap, have someone push pedal, aren't the known for the Mac reservoir gasket going bad between plastic bottle and m/c? If that it is available from a non rover car dealer like Audi or Volvo or something

Default give the brakes a break or they'll be broken

oilspotLR: the cold temperature made the parts in the maser cylinder leak more than usual.
the seal needs replacement BUT the bore must be perfect or it will just leak again.
Me thinks that there is water in the MC and it froze causing a temporary path for the fluid to escape between the seal and the wall and hopefully didn't damage the seal.
When was the last time you renewed the brake fluid? It's such an easy thing to do and it protects the braking system as the fluid absorbs moisture and becomes corrosive.
