Default ????? brush gaurd ??????

Ok,,,,,, so i picked up a full wrap around brush gaurd on CList for 100$. No rust or dents or bending. Although I haven't really had a chance to put it under the truck yet to figure out how it fits on.
If some of you guys could post pics of how and where I should bolt it on , I would be really grateful.

I'm sorry I do not have pics for you. If you crawl under the front of your truck you will see two holes on the left side of the frame and two on the right. You will need two people, one to hold up the bumper and another to slide the bolts through. Ramps will help, not needed though. Take a peek under, it will make sense where it has to line up.

You shouldn't.

Brush guards are called damage multipliers for a reason.

If you do decide the bolt on, its bolts in the same spot as the bumper usually. At least mine did when I got it. I took it off because it was rusted and looked like a cheesy ghetto version anyway.

My feeling is you threw away a hundred bucks. Maybe you can use it for a boat anchor or some other suitable purpose.

Many Disco's end up getting totalled out by their insurance companies due to the excessive repair costs when a Discovery with one of those monstrosities gets into what would have been a minor accident. They will wipe out the hood and the rest of the front end and repair costs will exceed the market value of the vehicle.

The ARB bumper is a clearance reducer and the airbag version is known for twisting and causing body damage.

There are better alternatives from RTE, Terrafirma, Tactical Rovers, and Hard Labor Creek.

That is a bunch of crap it looks great on the rover. if you dont know how to drive and smash into something that's your dumb dumb. If someone runs into you then that's why you have insurance and it gets repaired.
If you don't like them that's to bad for you but he did not ask for you to tell him he was stupid for buying it.

I never said he was stupid for buying one. I think they look cool. So what if you can't put a winch on it or whatever! I have one sitting waiting to go on my DI. Then again I have enough parts to replace everything on the front end so if some idiot hits me I'll be okay.

OK so I put it on last night, and................. then i took it off.
It does looke good but I , after seeing it , want a heavier more useful working bumper.
Not sure which one yet as most of those manufacturers are damn proud of the stuff.
I will just resell to someone that wants it.
This may be a daily driver now but after I am done with her she will be a behemoth of a play toy.
