Default Brush guard

Where can I find a brush guard for a 98 D1? I see there's one on Ebay right now, but the price is a little steep after shipping. It also doesn't come with the lights OR headlight guards.

Is there any other place(s) to buy the part, or should I just keep my eyes out on ebay?

are you looking for the plastic bumper covers? or is the brush guard a metal part?

post a picture of exactly what you are wanting and we’ll go from there. Just so we can help you with accuracy.

Good call. Apologies for the lack of clarity. This piece (OEM preferred):

I just so happen to have bought a 98’ D1 last month w/ that exact brush guard which was brand new installed on the truck this summer and I was looking to get rid of mine (it has the light guard inserts as well as a set of halogen lights that as far as I can tell haven’t even been hooked up.)

I am located in Madison, WI. I’ve no idea what shipping a beast like this would involve…

you should keep it - adds a lot of value - especially a NOS - they are very hard to find let alone NOS

Sharp looking stock D1. Whats the story on it? Why are you ditching the OME brush guard, those are hard to find. You aren't going to try and Jeep'ify it are you? Because Jeeps are mayonnaise. Series I Disco's are Grey Poupon.

The D1 brush guards were made of thin material, and only painted on the outside so they tend to rust from the inside out. specially the vertical supports as they can pack with mud and hold moisture in the tubes. They are not as strong as the aftermarket ones and the sides past the headlights are not supported. They are commonly called crash multipliers as the make front end crashes much worse. That being said, I personally like the way they look and had one on my 97, and currently have one I need to mount on my 99. Easy to mount with 4 bolts where the front bumper mounts to the frame.
