A regular roof rack merely clamps to the external roof rails.

What he means is a roll cage that goes all the way from the frame thru the floor into the vehicle and then up thru a hooe in the roof across the top and back down thru the roof into the car and thru the floor to the frame. A complete roll cage.

 

The later years of the CT actually included roof mounted racks. To compensate for roll cages they merely added more gutter supports. So, it could roof mounted and still be legitimate. Pictures would be nice

 

I'll snap some pics next time I drive by it, I'll also get his number and give him a ring to see what he says. Looks like a fun vehicle but I have a problem buying anything that's a replica.

 

It's a replica if it says 4.6 on it. They all had diesels.
