Changing Fuel Pump Help
Ok im taking my fuel pump out and changing it with a new one need help. I took off all the connectors and took off the metal ring. At this point it should pull straight out but it feels like something is holding it in. Any ideas?
After taking the black metal ring off. (if you haven't use a flat head to twist if off.)
Then I suggest you also use a flat head to lift the fuel pump, be careful not to hurt your fingers. I had a bad experience. Let me know if you need me to send pictures so you know what I'm talking about.

Spike555 and LRChick...Thanks guys yeah i had to use a flat head screw driver. Man that thing was stuck on there lol. Replaced the Fuel Pump. So far So good! Its running! I tried it about 5 times and each time its started. Im going to wait for an hour then try it again. Continue that for a couple of hours then I should be good to go. Thank you all for your help. It is appreciated! Thank God for the Forums and Members like you guys. Spike555 Thank you for your advice on several other posts as well!
