Default A cheaper MAF for '96-'99 Disco 1?

While tracking down a problem that turned out to not be the MAF, I came across the following website offering what appears to be great deal on a new MAF...

ERR5595A Mass Air Flow Sensor 1996-1999 Land Range Rover Discovery II HSE SE 4.0 [8367] - $138.95

I know the link and website shows '96-'99 Disco "II", but that's obviously just a typo. The part number matches up as a Disco I item, not Disco II.

Has anyone tried this part and/or bought from this vendor?

Under $140 for a brand new MAF is a great deal... if it's a good item... even if it's made in China (which I suspect, I found a site in China selling it too... also found a UK site that might be related to the above, appearance of site seems similar).

The price on this item is particularly attractive, after getting a quote for a replacement OEM MAF from a dealer, about $1600 if they can even find one. As an alternative, O'Really? Auto Parts tells me they can get my MAF rebuilt for a bit over $800 (requires sending in my part, so car out of service while waiting for the rebuild.... and there's no warranty on the rebuilt part).

That $140 part is starting to look pretty good, where ever it's made!

I'm bookmarking (don't need a MAF... yet), but would appreciate anyone's feedback about the part or the seller.

Cheers!

I'm guessing it's the Allmakes brand since it looks the same as the one offered from British Pacfic. Allmakes parts are hit and miss. I've used lots of their parts but don't know of anyone trying that yet.

I looked at getting one from them a while back, but ultimately got a good used one for $35 + shipping.
