Anybody know where I can get the backlight bulb for my clock on a 96. Its not a huge deal but at night its just annoying that I cant tell the time.

NO, don't buy a regular bulb!!!! The LED in green rocks. This photo is daytime.

Need to bend the tabs up a little as the fit is tight, but they rock. I just added LEDs to my shift indicator, looks great.

Forgot to mention that I added a second clock for the wife(she moved her from France less than a year ago, perfect for calling family as you don't have to calculate the time difference).

Abran, I need to do that for my wife so she knows what time it is & can talk to her family in Damascus. Do you know if there's a way to replace the back lit bulb on the stereo? Cant see the stations after it gets dark.

Hi Brent,

There is a way, GB4X4radio does it, I just don't know how and have not been courageous enough to dig in.

I have an extra clock with pigtails, email me if your interested.

But then what would I do with the light pod?? That's where I have the 3 extra switches... By the way, does your wife know about whatsap? Wife uses is all of the time to have group "text" chats with her family in Saudi, Syria, Libya & Iraq. It will drive you nuts with all of the beeping, chiming & whatever sound the sender chooses, but she loves the free communication with everyone at the same time. Checked into the BB4x4radio. Guess I'd have to send my radio to Texarkana to get that light fixed.

Yeah, My wife is a techie genius. She has all of the apps and so forth. The best sound on her phone is the "Cha Ching" when she sells something on ebay!

The clock will fit just above the switches where the coin holder is, unless that is where you store your iPod.

Im tempted to get a iPod jack refurbed radio from those guys. But I do have an extra radio that I might just pull apart and see if I can do some mods.
