cold trans no upshift, perfect shifts when warmed up
As title says, my 96 v8 disco recently started to refuse to upshift when cold.
once it warms up after a bit, it shifts perfectly through all 4 gears and acts as expected. no hard shifts or anything strange.
up until earlier this week, it shifted beautifully all the time.
trans fluid level is correct, measured cold in neutral after shifting thru the gears with brakes on.
trans fluid is looking good, even drained some out of the pan and everything looks and smells good.
kickdown cable is adjusted per the rave manual, although it has a lot of slop in it with the throttle closed. it reaches full extension at WOT.
there are no obd fault codes.
Anyone have any thoughts on what is happening?
Thanks
