Default Cool Product

I am watching Extreme 4x4 right now and saw a product advertised. It's a spray on thermal barrier that looks a lot like rhino liner. It's called lizard skin and the website is LizardSkin® Spray-On Insulation : Lizardskin I thought of everybody that has pulled their carpets and talked about increased noise and heat. They say it will reduce heat transfer by 30 degrees F and noise by 12 decibels. Might be a good solution to interior floor covering upgrades. I thought it was worth mentioning so folks can check it out.

I try to watch that every week. That and a few similar shows are on here each weekend. On Horsepower TV or one of them they also had a cool looking enclosed tubular air filter than could take the place of the plastic air intake box. They were putting it on a Blazer they were upgrading. It was a chrome finish, looked great and would keep water from entering thru the sides which is an advantage oover those cold air cones that some people are fond of.

I also saw one mod on their off-road buggy that put the air intake in the driver's compatment to keep it high and dry. I also saw them turn the intake manifold 180 degrees on a 350 LT motor for a similar affect.

someone else mentioned a cheaper housing product in sheets...maybe tar lined that might work as well.
